Twitter is limiting how many tweets its users can read because Elon Musk’s service experienced a prolonged outage that hindered users’ ability to track new posts.

In a tweet, Elon Musk detailed his revised usage quota.

Verified account holders can read a maximum of 6,000 posts per day, while unverified users are limited to 600 posts per day.

Meanwhile, newly registered and unverified users face tougher restrictions of just 300 posts per day, according to the chief executive of Tesla and SpaceX.

Then Elon renewed the limit, to 8000 for verified accounts, 800 for unverified accounts, and 400 for new users.

Finally, Elon increased the limit to 10,000 verified accounts, 1,000 unverified accounts, and 500 for new users.

It turns out that this is the reason for Elon Musk’s latest policy

Elon Musk says that Twitter is grappling with “extreme levels of data scraping” from “several hundred organizations” and “manipulation of systems”.
