
BONSERNEWS.com – The incident of the Titan submarine which lost contact during the expedition tour of the wreck of the Titanic is said to have experienced a massive explosion. The five passengers on board were confirmed dead.
Rear Admiral John Mauger at a press conference said the submarine had suffered a powerful explosion.
Furthermore, the wreckage of the Titan submarine was found by the US coast guard. The wreckage of the ship was found 1,600 feet or 488 meters from the Titanic’s bow.

The French research ship Atalante, which was involved in the search for submarines, deployed a diving robot that was able to descend to the wreckage of the Titanic, and finally the wreckage of the Titan submarine was found.
The five main 22-foot (6.7-meter) long Titan fragments lie in the remaining debris field.
Other debris included the tail cone and two sections of the pressure hull. It did not say whether human remains were found. “The debris here is consistent with a violent vehicle explosion,” said Mauger.

While before the press conference, the Coast Guard, OceanGate, issued a statement saying there were no survivors among the five people aboard the Titan, including the company’s founder and CEO, Stockton Rush, who piloted the Titan.
The other four are British billionaire and explorer Hamish Harding (58), Pakistan-born entrepreneur Shahzada Dawood (48) and his 19-year-old son Suleman, both British citizens.
Furthermore, the famous French oceanographer and Titanic expert Paul-Henri Nargeolet (77) who has visited the wreck dozens of times.
“These people are true explorers with a distinct spirit of adventure, and a deep passion to explore and protect the world’s oceans,” the company said.
“Our hearts are with these five souls and every member of their family during this tragic time,” he concluded.
